Another question please:
In case I am in another country when I receive an answer from the Quebec and I get an appointment for my first interview.
- Is it possible to ask for the interview to be done in another country?
- Is it possible to ask to postpone the appointment?
anyone can help me here?
Many Thanks for help

I am worrying about the same thing -- I am beginning to apply for jobs in Ottawa while still in the States. I think it will depend entirely upon the employer/company you are applying with. You may ask to do a phone interview if they will allow it. As far as having the interview given in another country, I think that will depend on whether they have an office in your country or not that can offer that to you. I would not risk asking them to postpone the interview for fear of losing the position to someone else. My suggestion would be, if you are not able to travel there for the interview, ask for a phone interview. Many companies that are hiring "foreigners" will be understanding of the situation. Happy job hunting!
Hi!
Thanks for replying.
It was my fault I didn't explain my post clearly,
I meant the interview that the canadian visa officer will do
in order to decide whether to give me the "certificat de selection" for Quebec..
Thanks anyways for your post
Good luck with your application

Yes, I know you can select which city in the US you'd like your interview again so that probably applies for other countries as well.

Oh! I apologize for my misunderstanding your post. I believe Chilifan is correct -- you should be able to choose the city (from a list) where you can have your interview performed. (Thats the way it is for those of us coming from the States at least. Should be similar for you as well, if you are coming from another country.)
