Four years ago I was told that I was eligible for Canadian citizenship due to the fact that my mother was Canadian born and even though she had lived many years in the U.S., she retained her Canadian citizenship. I am an American citizen hoping to immigrate to B.C. but I have not been able to find anything reguarding to my immigrating status and realize things have changed in the past four years. If anyone has any information relating to this it would be GREATLY appreciated.:confused:

Yeah, you can do that - I have a friend whose mother is a Canadian citizen and went the same route. Go ahead and apply and good luck!
