Hi there, I am a Uk citizen who wants to move to Canada under the skilled worker category. I went to work in B.C. under a 1 year student visa and fell in love witht he place and would now like to make the move permenant. I think I will have just about enough points but my partner (engaged to be married) who also wants to move with me will probably not have due to the lack of work experience.
We are both eductaed to Batchelor degree level. We have the option of another 1 year working visa. I want to know the best way of applying. If I get citizenship does this mean that she would automatically get granted citizenship? Would I be better off applying then moving on the 1 year temp visa whilst the application is being processed?
