Hello,

I just wanted to know if anybody had any thoughts or information on the following question; given my situation outlined below, if I apply as a Self Employed applicant and I fail, can I reapply as a Skilled worker?

- Using the Self Employed assessment grid I score 76 ( I have an Auntie who is resident in Vancouver and my wife has a degree)
- I have British citizenship, my wife is Finnish, and we reside in the UK. We have no children.
- I make broadcast television documentaries in the United Kingdom for the world famous British Broadcasting Corporation (the BBC), and have successfully run my production company for 5 years.
- I fully met the criteria for being a Self Employed applicant
- Until I am working my wife could support us from day one in Canada as she has British and US clients who she subtitles for and her work is all done on a computer down the telephone line. She could therefore continue to work as if she was still in the UK
